Quick answers about using T4S.
Is T4S free?
Yes. Creating an account and using the planner, timer, reminders, notes, links and mock-test tracker is free.
How do reminders work?
Open Settings, then Notifications, and press Turn on for this device. T4S then reminds you before each task in today’s plan, sends your morning plan, a streak saver in the evening and a weekly summary every Monday. You choose which ones and at what time. Every reminder also appears in the bell inside T4S.
Where is my plan saved?
In your T4S account. It syncs to every phone or laptop where you log in. While you work offline, your changes stay on the device and sync when you are back online.
Does it work offline?
Yes, on the live site. After your first visit the planner opens without internet, and you can add, edit and delete as usual. If you change the same plan on two devices while offline, the most recently saved version wins.
Can I use Hindi?
Yes. Use the language button at the top of the website, or in Settings inside the planner, to switch between English and Hindi. The Privacy Policy and Terms are in English only for now.
Can I bring my plan from the old Time4Study app?
Yes. In the old app, save a backup file (Settings, Save backup to…). Then in T4S open Settings, Backup and restore, press Restore from file and choose that file.
Why do I not get notifications on my iPhone?
Apple allows web notifications only for apps added to the Home Screen. In Safari tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, open T4S from the new icon and turn notifications on in Settings.
I said no to notifications. How do I turn them on?
Your browser remembers that choice. Open the site settings for T4S in your browser (the icon next to the address), allow Notifications, then press Turn on for this device in T4S Settings.
How do I back up my plan?
Open Settings, then Backup and restore, and press Save backup to… On phones you can pick Google Drive, Files or another app; on laptops you choose a folder. Copy backup puts the same text on your clipboard.
I forgot my password.
On the log in page press Forgot password, enter your email and open the link we send you. The link works for one hour.
How does the streak work?
Complete at least one planned task in a day to keep your streak going.
How does the daily plan work?
Your Plan tab is a weekly template that repeats. Every new date starts from it with nothing ticked, so yesterday’s unfinished work does not carry over. On Home you can pick any date and add, edit or delete tasks for that date only. Dates that are already past stay as they were.
How do the timers work?
Press the play button next to a task in today’s plan. Presets are 25 + 5, 50 + 10 or your own custom length, and −5 or +5 changes a running timer. Every fourth focus session is followed by a longer break, and focused time is added to your weekly total.
Can I install T4S as an app?
Yes. On Android and laptops use Install T4S in Settings or in your browser menu. On iPhone use Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Can I change how the app looks?
Yes. In Settings, Appearance lets you change the text size and choose which cards show on Home. You can also switch between light and dark themes.
How do I delete my data?
In Settings you can reset your plan, or delete your account, which permanently removes your plan, notes, links, notifications and login.
